We will die little deaths throughout our lives as we walk our way through multiple transitions. We are here to assist you by providing tools to stay present in mind, body, and spirit, and by walking along side you as you step forward on your path to whole-being wellness.


Mind-Body Skills Groups and Self-care Presentations


Mind-Body Skills Groups

Mind-Body Skills Groups offer a powerful and effective combination of research based healing therapies to help participants deal with life changes, stress, and illness in an intimate and supportive group setting. Participants meet for two hours a week for six to eight weeks and discuss how to bring presence to mind, body, and spirit, and learn skills to decrease the stress response such as:

  • Meditation
  • Guided imagery
  • Biofeedback
  • Breath work
  • Movement
  • And more

Anyone interested in making changes in their lives, whether a desire is to decrease stress, increase coping, decrease pain, enhance immune function, or manage anxiety or depression more effectively can benefit from attending.

Self-Care Classes, Seminars, and Workshops

We can provide your group with easy to understand, real time techniques to reduce stress and increase self-awareness. Attendees will walk away with tools they can begin to use immediately to decrease the stress response and increase their overall wellness. Let us create a fun, engaging presentation or class customized just for your group.


End of Life Conversations


Death Cafes

 At a Death Cafe people, often strangers, gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death.

Our objective is 'to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives'.

A Death Cafe is a group directed discussion of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session.

Death Over Dinner

Death Over Dinner is a chance to gather in a familiar setting to talk with welcoming people about death. What was your first experience of death like? If you had a choice, were would you die?

At these events, we facilitate a meaningful conversation over a shared meal. Questions help guide the discussion and sharing of experiences. Participants have the opportunity to contribute to a powerful discussion about the end of life and what it means to them.

Selena Freimark, MA is certified as a Mind-Body Medicine Practitioner through The Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington D.C. She teaches groups and individuals skills to reduce stress and increase self-awareness through workshops, seminars, and Mind-Body Skills Groups. Selena is trained in the holistic health modalities of Reflexology, Healing Touch energy therapy, and Intrinsic® Health Coaching, and has worked in the fields of health education and Hospice.
